The short answer

To make a Can Can Dance AI video, pick Solo or Trio and a scene, add a head-to-toe photo (for a trio, one photo of all three or one each) and pay $9.90 once. In about 5 to 8 minutes you get a vertical 9:16 MP4 with the trend's sound and no watermark: 15 seconds at 720p HD by default, or pick 5 to 12 seconds, 480p, or the Ultra model. The dance follows the viral TikTok clips move for move. No app, no template and no subscription. If a video fails, its credits go back automatically.

What happens in the Can Can Dance video

Each version follows a real viral clip move for move and keeps its sound. Shorter lengths keep the end of the clip, where the kicks are.

What the Can Can Dance trend is

Embedded from TikTok. Our Solo template follows this clip's moves and sound.

A 165-year-old galop, a living-room kick line and a solo that hit 30 million views.

Updated

  1. 1858Offenbach's operetta Orpheus in the Underworld opens in Paris. Its “Infernal Galop” becomes the can-can tune.
  2. April 2023The Gregorian Sisters post a three-person kick line in their living room: about 7 million views.
  3. May 2023Trios across TikTok copy it, like @happykelli's (6.9 million views).
  4. April 2024@thisisnotaprilatall posts a solo take, knee lifts, kicks and flapping arms, that passes 30 million views.
  5. 2026AI versions: people put themselves and their friends into the dance from one photo.

What it means

Pure, slightly chaotic joy. People post it to celebrate a Friday, a payday or a finished exam, or as a group challenge with friends or siblings.

The trio version is about timing: three people, arms linked, kicking in sync. The solo version is about commitment: the more you flail, the better it gets.

The can-can song

It's the “Infernal Galop” (Galop infernal) by Jacques Offenbach, from Orpheus in the Underworld (1858). The composition is in the public domain; recordings and arrangements of it are not.

Each of our templates keeps the sound of the clip its dance follows, so the kicks land on the beat: Solo follows @thisisnotaprilatall and Trio follows the Gregorian Sisters.

Can Can Dance AI FAQ

What exactly do I get?

A vertical (9:16) MP4 with the trend's can-can sound and no watermark. By default it is 15 seconds at 720p HD (720×1280); you can also pick 5, 8, 10 or 12 seconds and 480p.

How many credits does a video use?

It depends on the model, resolution and length you pick, and the form shows it before you pay. Standard at 720p: 10 credits for 15 seconds, 4 for 5. At 480p: 6 for 15 seconds. Ultra (Seedance 2.5) at 720p: 15 for 15 seconds.

What's the difference between Standard and Ultra?

Standard uses ByteDance's Seedance 2.0. Ultra uses the newer Seedance 2.5, which follows the dance and keeps faces closer to your photo, and costs more credits.

Can I do the trio with my friends?

Yes. Pick Trio and add one photo of all three of you, or one photo each in the order you want from left to right. Everyone in the photos must be an adult who agreed to it. A trio costs the same as a solo.

Which scenes can I pick?

Home (a cozy family living room, like the trend's home videos), Paris street (a cobbled street outside a cabaret at dusk) and Cabaret (a stage with red velvet curtains and spotlights). Every scene costs the same.

How long does it take?

Usually 5 to 8 minutes. When many videos are being made, yours waits in line and starts automatically. You can leave the page and come back to it.

Is it a face swap of the original video?

No. A face swap pastes a face onto the original clip. We make a new video of you or your friends in the scene you picked, dancing the same moves to the same sound.

Do you use the original TikTok video?

No footage from it. The dance follows the trend clip's moves through a grayscale depth outline, never the people in it, and your video keeps that clip's sound so the kicks land on the beat.

What happens to my photo?

It stays on your device until you sign in and start the video. Then it is uploaded, passes an automated safety check, is used only to make your video, and is deleted automatically after 30 days (sooner on request at support@memereel.net). We never use it to train AI models.

What if it doesn't work?

If a photo doesn't pass the safety check, nothing is charged. If a video fails or is blocked after it started, its credits go back to your balance automatically and the page tells you why.
